Ingredients: Plums (from Wakayama), alcohol, sugar, sake, Kokuto (unrefined cane sugar from Okinawa)
Made with fully ripened Nanko plums from local farmers, this umeshu is prepared immediately after harvest and left to extract its rich essence over six months. Kokutou from Hateruma, Okinawa, is then added, giving it a toasty aroma and a smooth, mellow sweetness. Best enjoyed on the rocks or mixed with warm milk.
